The Sand Restaurant is our all-day dining home on Long Beach. Open daily, it features 45 indoor seats and 15 terrace seats with refreshing sea breezes and contemporary tropical décor. As an authentic Thai restaurant in Koh Lanta travelers enjoy, it serves a thoughtful mix of local classics and international comfort food, with priority placed on fresh, locally sourced ingredients from nearby farmers and fishermen.
Signature Thai dishes guests love include Chicken Massaman Curry, Tom Kha Gai, Tom Yum Goong, and Som Tam served with grilled chicken. Sourcing locally helps reduce transportation emissions while supporting the island community, and it adds genuine island character to every plate.
During high season and festive periods, the restaurant hosts themed dining nights including Fusion East Meets West Night, Lanta Island Night, and Thai Night, accompanied by live entertainment such as Elvis shows, cabaret performances, fire shows, and private candlelit dinners on the beach. We also cater for weddings, retirement parties, group celebrations, and private events for up to 80 guests.
Breakfast
Mornings begin with our buffet breakfast, served daily from 07.00 to 10.30.
The spread features a variety of international and Thai selections, including a live egg station, sausages, pancakes, fresh salads, cold cuts, Thai dishes, breads, cereals, seasonal fresh fruits, and a beverage station with coffee, tea, and juices. Breakfast is included for guests on room plans with daily breakfast, and those without can purchase it separately upon arrival.
Lunch & Dinner
Our à la carte lunch and dinner menu features authentic Thai dishes alongside popular Western favorites, including grilled seafood, spicy soups, salads, curries, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pasta, and Thai desserts.
Thai favorites include Tom Yum Goong, Green Curry, Pad Thai, Spicy Papaya Salad, and Mango Sticky Rice. From the international menu, guests enjoy Smoked Salmon Pizza, Chicken Quesadillas, Grilled Lamb Rack, and Chicken Masala Tikka with naan bread. Pad Thai is our recommended chef's special. Vegetarian dishes are available, and we kindly ask guests to inform us of any food allergies before or upon check-in.
Sunset Dining

Our signature cocktail is the Lanta Sand Beach House, a refreshing tropical mix of Mekhong, fresh lime, ripe mango chunks, raw sugar, and mint, inspired by the vibrant beachside spirit of Lanta.
